Most of the time it does save correctly, but every once in a while it doesn't. It seems to save ok after major events like completing missions, but when you manually save to save loot, skill changes, or upgrades it isn't reliable. Sometimes the next time you load the game you're back at a previous save and have to redo everything.Game not saving. Hi all I've noticed a few times that the game doesn't actually save (even when you press the button in the game menu "save" and "save and quit". Last night I got really frustrated because I was looting chests and removing posters etc. for two hours straight. I saved, or so I thought, and came back to the game a bit later. All progress was lost.
But i fixed it by: Start UPlay > Click the gear in right top corner (Settings) > Settings > General > Enable Cloud Save Synchronization for supported games (Turn it off, uncheck the box next to it).
