I just got Touhou 8, and I wanna 1cc it, I've already 1cc'd EoSD so I wanna get a 2nd one under my belt. I am a bit confused however. I read that, in a nutshell, you essentially have to 1cc the game twice instead of just once, one time to beat Eirin and unlock Final B, and twice to actually fight Kaguya.

Probably because how the game is made. Even in Gacha standards, Lost Word isn't that great. The game is clearly made to steal as much money as possible. Backgrounds are cool as they showcase multiple different artists but they're overcrowded with the actual characters. Meaning 90% of the time.
