It is very likely your starter motor is not turning quickly enough. If your car is 10 year old or older, check your starter motor. These are the main two reasons why your car is not starting when it is cold. You can check your injectors, but if the car runs fine I would be surprised if this is your problem.

I have a 2012 Sportage SatNav 2.0 AWD Diesel and the windscreen (s) washer pump appears to have failed. When I attempt to wash either the back or the front windscreens no washer fluid is produced, although the wipers go through their automatic set of sweeps. After 15k my diesel 1.6 sportywagon is now suffering from poor starting from cold. It's fine when starting warm so presume that one or more glows plugs have given up. I have booked in at main dealer for looking at but cannot do untill 24th May when a cutsey car will be available. Not a quick fix by any stretch of the imagination!

The standard equipment is plentiful with lane assist keeping you between the white lines, auto dimming high beam etc. Handling is great, the small 1.6 diesel has a little bit of poke when pushed.

Have a kia sportage 2018 1.7 diesel from new since the weather turned cold difficult to start only 57 kilometers on it.have it booked in to garage for this thursday. seen other probs with glow plugs or repalce injecter washers or seals just wondering if any one got this problem sorted dont want to be fobbed of thanks. Bought an aftermarket one from ebay, it's pumping, but still no screen washers. Blew back to the screen wash bottle, no blockage. Unplugged from the nozzles, still no water being pumped up.
